PANews reported on July 22 that according to Wen Hui Network, Fosun International's (0656) Hong Kong technology financial services and investment entity, Fosun Wealth International Holdings, has recently registered trademarks in Hong Kong, including "Fosun International Crypto", "Fosun Wealth RWA", and "Star Coin", indicating that Fosun International will strengthen its involvement in the cryptocurrency and virtual asset industry.
It is understood that Fosun International has obtained an upgraded Type 1 license from the Securities and Futures Commission, allowing it to provide virtual asset trading services to its clients through a comprehensive account on the VATP platform. Previously, Cai Hua, CEO of Starway Technology under Fosun International, stated in May that they are connecting the trading system for RWA tokenization products for existing clients and preparing multiple asset tokenization projects.
