ChainCatcher reports that the latest news shows TRC20-USDT issuance has increased to 82.6 billion tokens, reaching a new historical high. Since the beginning of this year, the TRON network has cumulatively issued nearly 23 billion USDT. Currently, TRC20-USDT accounts for over half of the total USDT issuance network-wide, with 67.92 million holding accounts and cumulative transfers exceeding 2.672 billion transactions. Meanwhile, the total number of transactions on the TRON network has recently broken through 1.1 billion, with continuous growth in on-chain activity.
TRC20-USDT is a USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether on the TRON network, with fast transfer speeds and low transaction fees that have attracted a large number of users. It is supported by multiple exchanges including Binance, HTX, OKX, Bitfinex, MEXC, Kucoin, gate.io, and Poloniex. The TRC20 version of USDT will significantly enhance the existing decentralized application ecosystem of TRON, bringing higher overall value storage and stronger decentralized exchange liquidity, and providing a more convenient blockchain entry for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
