Binance Charity will airdrop up to $1.2 million in BNB to users in flood-stricken areas of southern Taiwan

According to ChainCetcher, Binance Charity announced that it will airdrop up to $1.2 million (approximately NT$35 million) of BNB to users in flood-affected areas of southern Taiwan to provide timely support. Eligible users need to verify their residence in severely affected areas through Proof of Address (POA), including Changhua County and City, Yunlin County, Chiayi County and City, Tainan City, and Kaohsiung City. Existing users who complete POA verification before August 7, 2025, will receive BNB worth $80; additionally, the first 15,000 users who complete POA verification between August 7 and August 20, 2025, will receive BNB worth $30. Funds are expected to be distributed to user accounts starting from August 14, 2025.
