Volkswagen Group Singapore has partnered with FOMO Pay to launch cryptocurrency payments for vehicles and services from August 14, 2025. Customers can now use BTC, ETH, USDT , and USDC to purchase vehicles or make after-sales payments, with a daily limit of SGD4,500 and a cumulative SGD13,500.
This solution is built on FOMO Pay's enterprise infrastructure, ensuring fast transaction speeds, security, and compliance with the regulations of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. In particular, the support for stablecoins such as USDT and USDC helps expand payment options, meeting the growing needs of customers who prefer digital assets.
Although the market has not recorded any major fluctuations in on-chain data, Volkswagen Singapore's move reflects a positive shift, as cryptocurrencies are increasingly accepted in legal and transparent payment channels in Singapore.
