On August 26th, on-chain data revealed that the Bitcoin whale, who previously made a high-profile ETH swap, was in the process of transferring his final 1,968 BTC (approximately $220 million). He had just deposited 1,000 BTC (approximately $110 million) into Hyperliquid, and the deposit is currently being processed. This portion of funds may be used to further increase his ETH holdings.
The whale had previously sold a total of 22,142 BTC on Hyperliquid, valued at $2.48 billion. In addition, four days before the initial ETH transfer, they sold 3,000 BTC (approximately $336 million) through over-the-counter (OTC) trading. This whale has now purchased a total of 544,977.69 ETH, valued at $2.45 billion (based on BTC prices of $112,000 and ETH prices of $4,500). As of press time, the whale has staked 544,981 ETH.
