Binance's Futures Contract trading feature was suddenly interrupted, causing a stir in the community.
From 1:18 p.m. to 1:36 p.m. this afternoon (Vietnam time), the Binance Futures platform - one of the most active Derivative trading products on the Binance exchange - encountered a technical problem that caused the contract transfer service to be suspended. Although the system was restored shortly after, this incident still caused confusion among the cryptocurrency investor community in Vietnam and around the world.
In an official Followin_Z6kTd1 announcement, Binance said: all Futures Contract trading activities were suspended during the incident. The exchange's technical team quickly stepped in to handle the issue and as of now, all functions have returned to normal.
It is worth noting that this incident occurred in the context of the highly volatile cryptocurrency market. Just a few minutes of trading suspension can cause investors using high leverage to suffer huge losses.
