Linea is allocating a total of 9,361,298,700 LINEA in this airdrop, with 749,662 addresses eligible to claim (fully unlocked at the TGE). This airdrop is primarily targeted at two types of participants: LXP (Linea Voyage) participants and LXP-L (Linea Surge liquidity providers).
1. LXP Participant Criteria
Minimum threshold: You must have accumulated at least 2000 LXP;
Tier system: 7 tiers are divided based on the amount of LXP you have. The higher the tier, the more tokens you will receive. The distribution increases linearly within the same tier. The specific tiers are as follows:
Level 1: 2000 LXP
Level 2: 3000 LXP
Level 3: 4000 LXP
Level 4: 4500 LXP
Level 5: 5000 LXP
Level 6: 6500 LXP
Level 7: 8000+ LXP
Boosts: Users who meet any of the following criteria will receive a 10% boost.
Early User Bonus: Users who interacted with the Linea network before the Dencun upgrade (from the Linea mainnet launch to March 27, 2024);
Continuous Activity Bonus: Users who conduct transactions on the Linea mainnet within any six months (monthly) between August 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
MetaMask Product Usage Bonus: Users who use MetaMask redemption or cross-chain functions on Linea, or use MetaMask staking or MetaMask card before June 30, 2025.
2. LXP-L Participants
Minimum threshold: You must accumulate at least 15,000 LXP-L;
Allocation method: linear allocation according to the number of LXP-L, no upper limit;
Design purpose: Encourage liquidity providers to concentrate funds in a single address to avoid Sybil attacks.
Builder Airdrop
Another 1% of the token supply is allocated specifically to strategic builders in the Linea ecosystem, including core applications and communities.
Anti-Sybil attack and PoH verification
To ensure that tokens are distributed to real users, the Linea airdrop sets a minimum activity threshold and introduces Proof-of-Humanity (PoH) verification to filter out Sybil attacks.
Inquiry and application time
Eligibility check: Available on Linea Hub from September 3, 2025;
Claim window: September 10 to December 9, 2025 (UTC), for 90 days;
Unclaimed tokens: Tokens not claimed within the deadline will be returned to the ecosystem fund.
