Seedify was hacked, illegally Mint Token, SFUND price crashed more than 47%
On September 24, 2025, gaming launchpad platform Seedify announced that a North Korea-linked hacker group had launched a large-scale attack targeting the Seedify project's SFUND bridge.
Today at approximately 12:05 UTC, a DPRK state-affiliated group known for many hacks in Web3 gained access to one of our developer's private keys. Using these, they were able to Mint a large amount of SFUND tokens through a bridge contract that had previously passed audit.

How to attack
- According to Chia information, the attacker obtained the private key of a Seedify programmer, thereby gaining control of the OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) bridge contract.
- By design, this contract should not be able to Mint Token without a bridged asset, but the hacker exploited a vulnerability.
- After gaining the right to Mint Token, the hacker deploys the attack scenario according to the steps below:
Mint large amount of SFUND Token illegally on Polygon.
Bridge Token to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base.
Drain liquidation (drain pool) into ETH at DEXs on these chains.
Finally, the hacker bridged the maximum amount of assets to USDT on BNB Chain
- In total, at least $1.8 million in damages were recorded with over 64,000 users affected, especially on BNB Chain , where Seedify has the largest community.
- However, the incident was limited to Token Mint from a compromised wallet. The platform's core contracts, user wallets, website, and protocol were not affected.
- Currently, hackers have dispersed assets through many different wallets with many assets such as BNB, USDT,...
Project team response
- As soon as the problem was detected, Seedify:
Coordinate with centralized exchanges to stop trading.
Blacklist the hacker's address on multiple chains.
Revoke violated administrative rights.
Notice that all cross-chain bridges have been temporarily disabled.
- At the time of writing, Seedify claims there is no liquidation risk on the BNB Chain and all bridges have been suspended. However, the team recommends that the community refrain from purchasing SFUND on other blockchains until further notice.
- Seedify said it used one of the world's most reputable and experienced auditors to review the contract and was assured it was secure. The team will continue to work with auditors and security experts to reassess the rest of the infrastructure.
- Seedify founder Meta Alchemist also called for help. He even sent a direct message to on-chain detective ZachXBT :
“If you can help us track down the culprit and solve this incident, we are willing to reward you with a large bounty. You can message me directly. The situation is extremely urgent, as the hacker is rapidly moving the Mint Token and draining the liquidation pools.”
- Shortly after, ZachXBT claimed that the wallets involved in the Seedify hack were linked to previous Contagious Interview campaigns, campaigns in which DPRK hackers impersonated employees of projects to infiltrate and conduct attacks.
- In response to the above developments, former Binance CEO CZ expressed his sympathy with Seedify CEO, briefly sending a message of "hope for the best" for the project.
- Immediately after the hack, the price of SFUND immediately crashed more than 47% in the past 24 hours and is currently hovering around $0.22.
