Against this backdrop, the crypto community has recently been abuzz with debate: Is Solana, once known as the "on-chain casino" and whose price was once propped up by meme coins, now on the verge of losing its meme status and losing ground to BNB Chain?
Solana and BNB Chain Official Twitter Battle
In this context, Solana’s official X account took the lead in responding. Earlier today (8), Solana shared the classic song “Many Men (Wish Death)” by the famous American rapper 50 Cent through the X platform. The lyrics implied that although everyone hopes to “die”, Solana will never sit idly by and will fight back against all threats.
The song's lyrics are known to be filled with survivalist philosophy and street-level resilience. 50 Cent recounts his experiences being shot multiple times, expressing anger and vigilance toward his enemies. The lyrics read, "Many wished me dead, but I wasn't destined to die." Solana's subtext is clear: even with the current bearish market outlook, they remain resilient and prepared to face the challenges of BNB Chain.
However, BNB Chain, clearly not willing to be outdone, quickly responded to Solana 'Official Twitter later, dropping another 50 Cent song, "Window Shopper." The song revolves around flaunting wealth and mockery. In the lyrics, 50 Cent flaunts his luxury cars and jewelry, contrasting them with the envy and incompetence of those who can only stand outside the window and admire the merchandise, unable to afford it. BNB Chain's move was a clear veiled criticism of Solana: "You can only drool over our success."
In addition, as the crypto community watched the excitement, Binance co-founder Yi He Yi also came out to post a message, saying:

In Chinese online lingo, "drinking loofah soup" is often used to mock someone experiencing "heatiness" or excessive emotion, requiring calm. It's unclear He Yi was mocking Solana's excessive anger, or trying to comfort BNB Chain and Solana, or perhaps offering a solution to both parties.
