The Monad Foundation has opened an Airdrop portal for the MON Token , which will last for the next three weeks.
This Airdrop will distribute MON to over 230,000 users across 5 groups: Monad community members, active on-chain users, general crypto ecosystem participants, contributors, and builders. Users of major protocols such as AAVE, Morpho, Pendle, Curve, Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Hyperliquid, Pump.fun, or holders of popular Non-Fungible Token such as CryptoPunks, Pudgy Penguins, Mad Lads, Milady Maker are eligible.
Monad warns users to beware of scams, only access through official channels. The current stage is only to confirm the right to receive Token, users can connect EVM or Solana wallets via Privy to prove ownership, but MON cannot be traded yet. Token will be distributed after the Token Generation Event, coinciding with the mainnet launch, expected after the end of claim on November 3.
According to Keone Hon , co-founder of Monad: “Just sign the confirmation with your wallet, and on mainnet day, MON Token will automatically appear in the wallet.”
There will be an “early reveal” event on October 28th for those who want to XEM the amount of MON they will receive.
On the Hyperliquid exchange, the MON-USD Derivative contract is currently trading around $0.069, corresponding to a diluted valuation of about $6.9 billion, with a 24-hour volume of more than $4.7 million.
