DWF Labs is alleged to have suffered at least $44 million in losses due to a suspected attack by North Korea's AppleJeus.

PANews reported on November 5th that independent researcher tanuki42 claims that market maker DWF Labs was allegedly hacked by the North Korean-linked threat group AppleJeus in September 2022 , resulting in a loss of at least $ 44 million, primarily in USDC/USDT . Funds from the affected addresses were allegedly transferred to Bitcoin and remained dormant for an extended period, with some recently flowing into the custodial mixing service Mixero . The post also lists multiple related transactions and untouched BTC addresses. As of November 2025 , DWF Labs has not publicly confirmed the incident.
