🧐@zama Prepares for Mainnet: Bringing FHE to Production Reality Zama, the privacy protocol leveraging Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), is gearing up for its Mainnet Beta launch later this year, following the release of Testnet v2 (which serves as the mainnet release candidate). 🔑 Technological Significance: Large-Scale FHE Deployment: This marks the first production-scale deployment of FHE in Web3. FHE is the technology that allows computation on encrypted data without ever decrypting it, fully eliminating the security vulnerability during processing. Testnet v2 Scale: Since its public testnet launch in July, Zama has recorded over 120,000 addresses conducting more than 1.2 million encrypted transactions, proving the protocol's viability. Zama is laying the groundwork for a core confidentiality layer, turning FHE from theory into a practical, day-to-day cryptographic tool.
