Creditcoin (CTC)
Creditcoin was launched on April 4, 2019, by a team located in the United States, Canada, South Korea, Nigeria, and Estonia, aiming to address the lack of a credit system for unbanked populations in emerging markets. Those unable to access banking services are forced to borrow from non-bank institutions. However, banks often distrust the data of non-bank institutions and therefore do not accept their credit records. This project aims to solve this problem by objectively recording the history of credit transactions on a public blockchain.
