ChainCatcher reports that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted that at the beginning of the year, ten states filed lawsuits against Coinbase's staking service, and now only five states remain in litigation. Maryland is one of the few states that has completely banned Coinbase's staking service. Maryland residents have lost approximately $8 million in rewards as a result, and the losses are still increasing.
