Pineapple Financial, a publicly traded company, has launched a mortgage lending tokenization program to migrate billions of dollars in assets onto the blockchain.

Mars Finance reports that Canadian fintech company Pineapple Financial has announced the launch of a mortgage tokenization platform on the Injective blockchain, planning to migrate its entire historical portfolio (over 29,000 mortgages, with a total value of approximately $10 billion) to the blockchain. Currently, the company has successfully tokenized over 1,200 mortgage documents, valued at approximately $412 million. Each tokenized record contains over 500 data points, designed to improve transparency and operational efficiency. Previously, publicly traded Pineapple Financial announced a $100 million Injective digital asset treasury strategy.
