Bloomberg recently reported that the cryptocurrency elite are gradually moving away from the Non-Fungible Token trend and shifting to a completely different luxury hobby: hunting for Longing fossils tens of millions of years old. Hidden deep within a highly secure storage facility in Singapore, dubbed the "Golden Fortress of Asia," Capital for housing rare wines and priceless works of art, lies a nearly intact Triceratops skeleton, estimated to be around 69 million years old. According to experts, only 24 such complete skeletons have been found worldwide, making it an extremely rare and historically valuable collector's item.
The owners of this extraordinary skeleton are a group of wealthy collectors, most notably Yoann Turpin – co-founder of Wintermute, one of the leading market makers in the crypto market. His group spent approximately $5 million to transport the more than 5-meter-long skeleton from Wyoming (USA) to Le Freeport, Singapore, earlier this year. The four co-owners are all well-known cryptocurrency investors in Asia, including Chaw Wei Yang – who runs Co-Museum, a platform specializing in unique collections.
