FOR ME $BTC IT STILL HAS POTENTIAL IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS Yesterday my younger brother called and said there's a real estate deal. The total cost for buying the land is about 7 billion VND, and they'll invest another 3 billion VND in building and operating the business (I won't mention the business model). The goal is to double the Capital gains after 5 years and achieve a cash flow of approximately 4-5% per year. That means if we invest around 10 billion in 2026, the total revenue by 2031 will be around 22 billion (this amount is not guaranteed as there are still many operating, maintenance, and upgrade costs...). Here, we consider three factors: 1) profit, 2) risk, and 3) the effort invested over that period of time – not to mention opportunity cost or inflation. So, for those of you in crypto, is it possible to double your investment in 5 years? Because if so, buying Bitcoin would be much easier than buying land, applying for permits, building, and operating a business model,... A simple calculation shows that Bitcoin is a very accessible investment asset with high liquidation and potential that is not inferior to many other assets. So why do we keep losing money when we get into crypto? It's often due to overly high expectations, impulsiveness in a short period, or the lack of a long-term portfolio management plan suitable for the market. For me, Bitcoin and crypto will be at a crucial turning point next season. Personally, I'll wait for a good price range to accumulate them as a favorite personal reserve asset!
