On December 18th, Binance founder CZ stated during the year-end Q&A session:
"My mindset for BNB Chain is simple: we just need to continue building value for the real builders. You should spend most of your time focused on building, occasionally looking up to see the competitive landscape and industry structure to clarify your direction. But most of the time, you need to focus on doing things—whether you're ranked first, second, or third, it doesn't matter. The key is to consistently do what you do best: consistently create value."
I often say that the scale of the BNB ecosystem should eventually surpass any single business within it—this includes centralized exchanges and various protocols. Of course, it's also possible that the foundational layer of the ecosystem will be smaller than any specific token, just as many Nasdaq-listed companies have market capitalizations far exceeding the Nasdaq exchange itself. Any possibility exists.
BNB Chain achieved product-market synergy long ago. This is like my message to the builders: have a long-term marathon mindset. It's like a combination of a marathon and a boxing match—you have to fight while running, but the most important thing is to keep moving forward.
