Etherscan – the blockchain explorer familiar to the Ethereum community – will officially cease indexing and end support for the ZKsync Era network as of January 7, 2026. This information has been confirmed by ZKsync, marking a significant change in the data infrastructure of this layer-2 ecosystem.
According to the announcement, from that point onwards, users will no longer be able to look up Block, transactions, or smart contract data of the ZKsync Era via Etherscan as before. Instead, all on-chain tracking will be transferred to the native Block Explorer developed and operated by ZKsync. This means that investors, DeFi users, and data analysts need to familiarize themselves with the new interface and system as soon as possible to avoid disruptions during use.
