Bitfinex executive: RWA's total market capitalization will grow to trillions of dollars within the next decade.

According to Jesse Knutson, Odaily of Operations at Bitfinex, the tokenized real-world asset (RWA) market will continue to grow in 2026, driven by emerging market economies. He stated that tokenizing real-world assets—representing physical or traditional assets on a blockchain network—solves the problem by enabling on-chain capital formation and bypassing traditional financial intermediaries. Knutson predicts that the total market capitalization of tokenized RWAs will grow to trillions of dollars over the next decade, but this growth depends on major issuers moving from pilot projects and sandboxes to actual commercial products.
