conveniences in cc are papercuts for an average consumer
examples:
- integrations (MCPs, skills, etc.) are complicated to set up and feel like modding GTA V
- people want pdfs/docx, not markdown
- watching claude rip 100s of lines of code is intimidating

claude code is amazing but still held back by the command line imho - most folks today want nothing to do with a terminal / CLI
evolving beyond the command line will be like going from MS DOS to Windows. couldn't agree more with @ekuyda here x.com/ekuyda/status/…
