슈퍼체인들은 시퀀서 수익의 일부를 옵티미즘에 지급합니다.

옵티미즘은 오늘 이렇게 확보된 2026년 슈퍼체인 수익 중 절반을 OP 토큰 바이백에 사용한다고 발표했습니다.

바이백을 통해 토큰 가격을 안정화시키고, OP 토큰을 빌더들한테 인센티브로 지급하는 플라이휠을 그리고 있는데, 잘 작동할지 지켜봐야겠네요.

1월 22일에 거버넌스 투표가 진행될 예정입니다.

🔴 Optimism Announces OP Buyback

Superchains will pay Optimism a portion of Sequencer revenue (the greater of 2.5% of Sequencer revenue or 15% of Sequencer revenue).

Optimism announced today that half of the 2026 Superchain revenue secured this way will be used to buyback OP tokens.

The buyback is intended to stabilize the token price and create a flywheel that rewards builders with OP tokens. It remains to be seen whether this will work.

The governance vote is scheduled for January 22nd.
