Alpaca Trading Infrastructure has just completed a $150 million Series D Capital round, raising its valuation to $1.15 billion. The funding round was led by Drive Capital, with participation from strategic investors such as Citadel Securities, MUFG, and Kraken.

Alpaca currently partners with over 300 organizations in more than 40 countries, providing trading infrastructure for fintech platforms, digital banks, and investment applications. Notably, the company states that its system supports up to 94% of the volume of Tokenize US stocks and ETFs, reflecting Alpaca's growing Vai at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets.
With the new Capital , Alpaca aims to upgrade its trading capabilities for institutional clients, including improving liquidation, system stability, and risk management tools. The company also plans to expand its technical and compliance teams to meet increasingly stringent requirements in various markets.

Another key focus of Alpaca is connecting the traditional financial ecosystem with on-chain platforms.
