Odaily Odaily reports that MilkyWay has completed its final protocol rewards distribution to the community, distributing a total of 92,708 USDC. This amount was converted from fees collected in the form of TIA, INIT, and BABY tokens. The distribution was based on a final protocol snapshot, and eligible participants included MILK holders, MILK stakers, and liquidity providers. A minimum allocation of 1 USDC was set for this distribution; addresses with allocations below 1 USDC were not eligible.
Previously, MilkyWay announced it was gradually ceasing operations and would permanently shut down. MilkyWay stated that the demand and adoption of decentralized finance had not met expectations, and the WayCard was launched too late, failing to alleviate funding pressures in time.
