According to Foresight News , Chainlink will host the Convergence Hackathon from February 6th to March 1st, with a total prize pool of $100,000. The event features four tracks: DeFi & Tokenization, CRE & AI, Prediction Markets, and Risk & Compliance, aiming to encourage developers to build applications that connect any data, system, and blockchain using the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). The first and second prizes for each track are $12,000 and $8,000 respectively, with 10 outstanding projects each receiving a $2,000 reward.
The submission deadline for this hackathon is March 1st, and the winners will be announced on March 20th. Entry requirements include building, simulating, or deploying CRE Workflow as the orchestration layer for your project, integrating at least one blockchain with external APIs, data sources, LLMs, or AI agents, and submitting a 3-5 minute demo video and publicly available source code. CRE aims to provide industrial-grade infrastructure, enabling developers to orchestrate off-chain data, perform cross-chain execution, and achieve real-world integrations in production-ready environments.
