According to Foresight News , citing Guowei Finance, the Pudong New Area People's Court held a hearing on January 13, 2026, for the case of a malicious fraud gang, CoinWin.com, seeking 1.04 million yuan in damages, bringing the total amount sought in litigation to over 10 million yuan. The gang members include Gu Ningning, Chen Gang, Mei Wenxiang, and Yan Jun. The plaintiff sued the gang for allegedly collecting 3 million yuan in advertising fees under the pretense of developing a Web3 project before absconding. Currently, the plaintiff is suing the four individuals for 1.04 million yuan in damages and has also filed a lawsuit in the Shanghai Railway Transportation Court against Gu Ningning for the alleged fraudulent acquisition of the 3 million yuan advertising fee.
According to reports, Gu Ningning, Chen Gang, Mei Wenxiang, and Yan Jun's group established the ETCWIN exchange in 2017, raising tens of millions of yuan from 200 people through an ICO. Subsequently, the group assisted Xu Zijing (a prominent figure in the crypto) in issuing Super Cash (HCASH), raising hundreds of millions of yuan. The group profited immensely from HCASH, but neither project complied with national regulations regarding refunds. After the collapse of HCASH, the group dumped its holdings and blamed Tron's Justin Sun Following a proposed currency swap, and after Justin Sun sold his HSR, the group vandalized and looted Justin Sun.
