are most of these clawd bot users running local models, or simply giving a server-based model access to all of their files + passwords?
if not local model, what's the point of buying clawd its own dedicated machine? is it the optics of a dedicated piece of hardware in your own room that bamboozles users into thinking its "local"?
I'm not using a local model, I mostly use codex API.
I think people get dedicated machines to isolate some of the security concerns
I think it's a bit of quarantining/hygiene too.
I'm going to run it on a wiped PC so that I don't have to worry about it having on-drive access to something I don't want to have
