I can only fear the point of this is to instigate martial law by goading civilians into an open combat situation and therefor justifying no elections and worse.
This seems wildly unprecedented in living memory.   What are the best strategic plays?  Cuz I'm seeing a lot of calls to violence and I fear that would backfire dramatically
