Thereâs something about knowing youâre about to go under anesthesia that messes with your head. Even if the procedure is âsmall,â your body doesnât know that. Surgery is still surgery. The lack of control, the trust youâre placing in other people, the awareness that anything can happen⌠it brings up thoughts you donât normally sit with. It makes me think about the people who are constantly in and out of hospitals. The ones fighting just to be healthy, just to feel okay. It really strips life down to the basics. When you donât have your health, nothing else matters. Everything else feels so secondary. Iâm going in with a lot of awareness. Grateful that I can get care, not taking any of it lightly, and reminding myself to breathe through the fear instead of brushing it off. If you can, please send me prayers and good energy and also to anyone struggling with health issues today who needs it.Trusting everything goes smoothlyđđ
