Crypto-friendly bank Erebor Bank obtains US national banking license

According to ME News, on February 7th (UTC+8), Erebor Bank, a crypto-friendly bank focusing on serving startups and high-net-worth individuals, became the first newly established bank to receive a national banking license during Trump's second term. A spokesperson for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), which regulates national banking licenses, confirmed the approval of Erebor Bank's license application. Erebor Bank plans to serve technology companies in fields such as artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, defense, and manufacturing, as well as individuals working or investing in these companies.
