Looking at all these densely packed buy and sell orders, I remembered chatting with @Mercy_okx during the #OKX New Year's Eve dinner. As a result, the long-term strategy got off to a bad start, getting stuck at 2600. After reflecting on this for the past few days, I think this is just the growing pains of a transitional period! Short-term trading emphasizes decisive action and clean stop-loss. The goal is to use leverage to generate substantial profits within a few percentage points, laying the groundwork for the next move. If the market does not move as expected, then cut losses decisively and make sure the profit-loss ratio is right. If you bring short-term trading into long-term trading, the first wave of trading may naturally result in an overly large position. Subsequent averaging down will only lead to losses and the position will become increasingly large. If the market becomes extreme, there will be no room for maneuver, which means a loss of control. Loss of control is fatal for a trader. Of course, we have many methods, such as day trading or locking in orders, but many methods are powerless against a rapid drop of -40% in a week, because there is simply no opportunity. Or rather, it is very difficult to maintain rational operation without deviation under the dual pressure of external pressure (market conditions) and internal pressure (mental stress), after all, we are just ordinary people. Fortunately, Ethereum didn't drop directly to $800, and BTC didn't drop directly to $30,000. These painful lessons will then be transformed into valuable experience. +U!
