Product Manager X: Video editing functionality planned; AI may reshape content production methods.

According to ME News, on February 8th (UTC+8), Nikita Bier, X Product Manager and Solana Consultant, stated that they plan to integrate video editing functionality similar to other social media apps into X, anticipating a three-month engineering development cycle. However, she independently developed a browser-based video editor prototype using new tools, completing it in just about 15 minutes. This experience led her to believe that AI tools may even replace some functions of traditional software suites like Adobe in the short term. She also predicted that with the development of AI, the demand for manual video editing may significantly decrease in the coming months. Furthermore, she pointed out that product development is becoming exceptionally difficult as technological capabilities and user behavior change rapidly, as companies struggle to accurately predict product form and demand structure in the coming months.
