US stock market daily trading volume surpassed $1 trillion in January, with record-breaking capital flows.

According to ME News, on February 11 (UTC+8), US stock market liquidity hit a new high, with daily average stock trading volume in January exceeding $1 trillion, reaching a record $1.03 trillion, an increase of approximately 50% compared to the same period in 2025. Daily trading volume reached approximately 19 billion shares, the second highest on record. Trading activity from both retail and institutional investors increased simultaneously, but amid concerns about high valuations, the continued influx of funds also exposed participants to higher risks.
