YOAKE stated that the additional investment of approximately $3.2 million will help expand on-chain entertainment scenarios on Sony's Soneium blockchain network.
The new Capital comes from the Sony Innovation Fund, focused on accelerating the deployment of Web3 entertainment experiences directly on the Soneium infrastructure. The focus is on expanding on-chain entertainment use cases, rather than just conducting isolated experiments.
Financially, YOAKE announced that it has raised approximately $4.45 million in total Capital to date. Prior to this, the project completed an Extended Seed funding round worth $1.25 million in April 2025.
IRC APP product, REC Token , and oshikatsu strategy
YOAKE is developing an IRC app based on Soneium, using REC Token to recognize and reward fan support, creating a transferable value system.
The REC mechanism is designed to record fan support activities and distribute rewards, thereby creating a transferable value system among users. YOAKE aims to upgrade this model into a multi-IP infrastructure, encompassing music, movies, games, and animation.
The project chooses Japanese oshikatsu culture as a starting point to promote its product and gameplay to the international market, connecting the global fan community with content providers, thereby expanding on-chain entertainment scenarios on Soneium.
