Just after midnight on February 14th, Taiwan time, good news came from the crypto market: Bitcoin surged past $69,000, driven by buying, reaching a high of $69,280; Ethereum followed a similar trend, briefly breaking through $2,050, and was trading at $2,045 at the time of writing.

Nearly $340 million in margin calls occurred across the entire online marketplace.
According to Coinglass data, 98,827 people were liquidated in the crypto market in the past 24 hours, with a total liquidation amount of $339 million. Of this, $127 million of long positions were liquidated, while $211 million of short positions were liquidated.
Within the last four hours, the total amount of liquidations across the network reached $165 million, with short sellers experiencing the largest liquidation, amounting to $152 million.
