According to ChainCatcher, Garrett Jin, an agent of the "BTC OG Insider Whale," posted on the X platform that recent geopolitical events have caused fluctuations in macroeconomic indicators, which in turn have affected the crypto market. Garrett Jin believes that key indicators at present include: crude oil, the US dollar index, and the yields on US 2-year/10-year Treasury bonds, and stated, "We are still in a risky environment, but now is a typical time to remain cautious."
Garrett Jin mentioned the following changes in current macroeconomic indicators: the yield on the 2-year US Treasury note rose to 3.49%, and the 10-year yield to 4.05% (the yield curve is positive, but geopolitical risks are exacerbating macroeconomic uncertainty), and Bitcoin, as a safe-haven asset, rose by 5% in the short term. Garrett Jin suggested that investors avoid chasing highs during geopolitically driven volatility and prioritize observing oil prices and the US dollar to assess the downside risks of cryptocurrencies.
