The Zhiyuan A2-W battery has been deployed on SAIC-GM Buick's battery production line.

Mars Finance reported on March 27th that the Zhiyuan A2-W robot "Nengzai No. 1" has recently been deployed on the SAIC-GM Buick battery production line. It will undertake high-precision tasks on the Buick E7 battery mass production line, becoming SAIC Group's first and one of the first humanoid robots in the automotive industry to be deployed on a mass production line. Based on the capabilities of the Zhiyuan A2-W base, "Nengzai No. 1" possesses human-like capabilities such as visual perception, dual-arm coordination, and force control grasping. It can autonomously identify battery cells and intelligently plan its grasping path, completing tasks without relying on fixed programming or precise material positioning. Zhiyuan Robotics stated that with its high-precision positioning capability of ±0.1mm, "Nengzai No. 1" can complete the two-dimensional and three-dimensional mixed data processing of multiple battery cells within one second, achieving a work efficiency of approximately 2 seconds per cell.
