TON's official technical team, TON Tech (@TONTechHQ), announced on the social media platform X the official launch of a new technical standard called "Agentic Wallets." This is an open and self-custodial wallet system specifically designed for AI agents, allowing AI to independently manage funds and send transactions on the TON network without requiring users to perform cumbersome authorization clicks for each action.

In the past, the biggest pain point in enabling AI to operate crypto assets was security risks and authorization friction. Agentic Wallets perfectly solves this problem. Its operating mechanism is completely decentralized, without any intermediaries involved.
According to TON Tech, the operation process of Agentic Wallets is as follows:
- Creation and Funding: Users allow the AI agent to create an independent on-chain wallet, and then deposit funds themselves, followed by confirmation of the operation settings.
- Limits and Authorization: The user's "main wallet" always retains absolute ownership of the proxy wallet. The AI proxy can only conduct transactions automatically within the "limits and permissions" preset by the user.
- Cancel at any time: Users have the highest control and can withdraw funds from the agent's wallet at any time, or unilaterally revoke the AI agent's operating permissions.
Developer-friendly: No wallet upgrade required, compatible with mainstream AI.
For developers, Agentic Wallets offers exceptional flexibility and convenience. This standard is directly compatible with existing TON wallet infrastructure , meaning existing wallet applications can support it without any mandatory underlying upgrades.
Furthermore, this architecture is not tied to any specific vendor, allowing developers to implement it independently and seamlessly integrate with mainstream AI models and agent frameworks currently on the market.
