1⃣ Bitcoin briefly surpassed $82,000 following positive news from US-Iran negotiations aimed at ending the conflict. The easing of geopolitical tensions is XEM as a direct factor driving this price surge.
2⃣ Many Fed officials continue to maintain a hawkish stance on interest rates. The US PCE index rose 3.5% in March compared to the same period last year. The presidents of the St. Louis and Chicago Feds said they have not ruled out the possibility of further interest rate hikes.
