According to TechFlow TechFlow, on May 26, Oobit, a Tether-backed mobile wallet, issued a clarification on the X platform. Previously, "chain detective" ZachXBT disclosed that two smart contracts (EURR and USDR) of stablecoin issuer StablR suffered a vulnerability attack worth approximately $13.5 million. The funds attempted to be withdrawn through Oobit, but its compliance team identified the abnormal behavior and successfully froze six-figure amounts of EURR funds, while also closing the withdrawal channel. This incident did not affect any user funds, and Oobit's own system was not compromised. Oobit is currently cooperating with StablR and investigators to advance the follow-up processing.
Previous reports indicated that StablR suffered a hacker attack that resulted in a loss of approximately $2.8 million, and that both EURR and USDR became unpegged.
