Jennifer Hicks, head of Binance's counterterrorism department, has left the cryptocurrency exchange after two years.

Binance 's "upper structure" continues to be disturbed with the departure of another female director. Information on Jennifer Hicks' LinkedIn profile implicitly confirms that she has resigned from the exchange.
Before leading Binance's anti-terrorism department in December 2021, Jennifer Hicks joined Chainalysis and worked in the US Navy. Bloomberg reporter also confirmed the news that Ms. Jennifer had left.

The above move comes in the context of cryptocurrency increasingly becoming a painful keyword in terrorist financing in the US. The most recent example is Hamas and other extremist organizations that mobilized millions of dollars in cryptocurrency before the brutal attack on Israel. Since then, US officials have tried to ask Congress to crack down on the use of cryptocurrency by terrorists.
To date, Binance has not yet responded to the news of Jennifer Hicks leaving the organization. However, she is not the only senior leader of the exchange to submit her resignation recently. Previously, the former Product Director , head of the Asia-Pacific region , senior officials of Binance in the US , UK ,France , Eastern Europe and Russia ... all made similar decisions.
The above departures are a harbinger of significant turmoil taking place in Binance's management structure, especially when the exchange is suffering a series of legal blows from US officials . The much inked battle with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still open to this day.
