BONK rose 7,303% year-on-year, ranking first

The cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecKo calculated the increase of the top 100 market capitalization tokens from the beginning of the year to December 28. Among them, BONK's increase was as much as twice that of the second-place INJ.

All the top ten tokens on the increase list have increased by at least 3.9 times that of BTC and ETH.

Only 3 of the top 100 tokens by market capitalization will fall in 2023

The report pointed out that as of December 28, a total of 8 tokens among the top 100 market capitalizations were in decline, but in addition to stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, BUSD, TUSD, DAI, Toncoin (TON), Chiliz (CHZ) and Sui (SUI) was the only non-stablecoin token to post a decline.

Among them, Sui was only launched on May 3 this year, hitting a high of $1.4 and closing at $0.83 on the 28th.

Bitcoin beats more than half of public chains

Bitcoin has risen from US$16,540 to US$43,418 this year, an increase of 162.5%, which is 1.7 times that of ETH (98.6%), ranking 65th among the top 100 market capitalization.

In addition, the growth rate of Bitcoin is also higher than that of 18 of the 30 Layer 1 public chains, and of the 11 public chains whose growth rate is higher than that of Bitcoin, 4 have entered the top ten in the growth list.
