NEAR Foundation: Will reduce 40% of team members to integrate the core team

Mars Finance News, according to official news, the NEAR Foundation stated that after an internal review, it decided to significantly integrate the core foundation team to focus on activities with a narrower scope and greater impact. As part of this reorganization, the NEAR Foundation will reduce its team by approximately 40%, involving 35 employees, primarily from marketing, business development, and community teams. Pagoda’s NEAR protocol engineering team will continue to operate as usual. In addition, the NEAR Foundation's financial position remains strong and well-managed, with over $285 million in fiat currency, 305 million NEARs (worth over $1 billion), and $70 million in investments and loans.
