Do Kwon asks U.S. court to postpone SEC trial against him

BlockBeats news, on January 12, Decrypt reported that Terra co-founder Do Kwon has asked a U.S. court to postpone his U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) trial pending his extradition from Montenegro. Do Kwon's lawyers said that with his extradition likely to wait until February or March, delaying the trial until mid-March "would provide a realistic possibility of Do Kwon's involvement". Do Kwon's lawyers added that if the court refuses to postpone the trial date, the Terra co-founder will ask the court to provide an instruction to the jury regarding his absence and inability to testify that "is not unduly prejudicial to his interests."
