On April 23, Runes transactions accounted for 81% of total transactions on the Bitcoin network, mainly mints and etchings of Runes Token . Meanwhile, regular Bitcoin transfers account for 19%, with BRC-20 and Ordinals Token coming in third and fourth with 0.2% and 0.1% respectively.

The number of transactions on Bitcoin also reached a record of 926,642 transactions on April 23. Of these, 750,428 Runes transactions were carried out, followed by 174,475 regular BTC transactions. Finally, there are 1,392 BRC-20 transactions and 715 Ordinals transactions.

Thanks to its heat, Runes accounted for 64% of transaction fees, earning a total transaction fee of up to 2,075 BTC, equivalent to 113 million USD, this past Tuesday.
