This morning CZ was sentenced to 4 months in prison by a federal judge although the prosecutors requested a 36-month sentence. WOW! This guy is so savvy. He got away with only 4-month in jail and billions of dollars in the bank (and crypto). I have a hard time believing he had no clue that he broke the anti-money laundering laws. But apparently, he apologized *sincerely* and the judge gave him a slight slap on the wrist. This is a big contrast from SBF’s 25-year sentence. Sure, CZ didn’t lose customers’ money but the amount of illicit activities Binance enabled is probably equally if not more harmful. All I can say is that CZ is truly a pro. I hope he channels his energy to something more beneficial for the human race once he gets out of jail.
