PANews reported on June 25 that AssangeDAO member Silke Noa said on the X platform: "In order to release Assange, it is estimated that AssangeDAO raised a total (net amount) of 16,593 Ethereum by purchasing 'The Clock', of which more than 11,000 (worth about 37 million US dollars) were used for legal defense and publicity. The distribution of these Ethereums is managed by the Wau Holland Foundation through its multi-signature address located at Safe.global, and is specifically used for Assange's publicity activities and legal expenses. It can be said that in the past, for security reasons, the fund allocation was not fully transparent so as not to harm Assange's case. But now, it is time for the Wau Holland Foundation to provide a detailed account of the fund allocation, and I have called for it many times before."
It was reported earlier today that WikiLeaks founder Assange has reached a plea agreement with the US Department of Justice, has left the UK, and will eventually return to Australia .
