According to ChainCatcher, cryptocurrency exchange BXTEN held a roundtable meeting with ICONPLAY, a media broadcasting company jointly operated by Indonesian state-owned power company PLN and SKYLBSTV, on September 9 to discuss topics such as the popularization of blockchain information.
The meeting was held at ICONPLAY headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the two parties reached an agreement to cooperate in blockchain education, media content production, mutual research and exchange, joint planning of Web3 industry events and programs, training of blockchain professional broadcasters, and full activation of Indonesia's leading blockchain professional channel.
It is understood that this year, BXTEN has met with ICONPLAY executives to discuss the establishment of a blockchain professional channel and cooperation on Web3 content media. This cooperation on the blockchain professional channel is in line with the strategic positioning of ICONPLAY management, which is composed of influential political and economic figures in Indonesia. As of 2023, Indonesia has more than 20 million cryptocurrency investors and is becoming the center of Southeast Asia's Web3, so this partnership has made a significant contribution to blockchain education and market activation under Indonesian government regulations.
It is reported that ICONPLAY is a state-owned platform broadcaster based on the Internet network of PLN, the state-owned power company of Indonesia. Since its official launch in August, the platform has broadcast more than 200 channels across the country, providing a variety of programs such as news, science, education, entertainment, music, and drama.
