ChainCatcher reported that Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett revealed that on Wednesday afternoon, the crypto industry organization Chamber of Digital Commerce and the office of U.S. Congressman Wiley Nickel hosted a policy-focused private roundtable meeting to discuss Bitcoin.
The meeting was held for House Democrats interested in learning more about the largest digital currency and its legislative approach. Who was in attendance: Eight Democratic House members (names not disclosed) and executives from Riot Platforms, Baker Mckenzie, Auradine, TeraWulf, Sustainable BTC, and CleanSpark.
It is reported that the topics discussed included using BTC for financial inclusion, mining and energy sustainability, and competition with China. The meeting was productive, with members asking good questions, participating actively, and eager to learn.
