According to ChainCatcher, Boyaa Interactive (00434.HK) issued an announcement that the company entered into a subscription agreement with MTT ESports Limited ("MTT ESports") on September 17, 2024, to invest in MTT ESports with 100 units of Bitcoin (BTC) as consideration, which is equivalent to a total value of approximately US$5.8193 million based on the market price of Bitcoin on the day immediately preceding this announcement.
Upon completion of the investment, the Company will acquire a 25% equity interest in MTT ESports. MTT ESports will not become a subsidiary of the Company as a result of the investment and its financial results will not be consolidated into the Group’s financial statements. To the best of the Directors’ knowledge, information and belief having made all reasonable enquiries, MTT ESports and its beneficial owners are independent third parties and are not connected with the Company and its connected persons.
